11:42 PM 6 october did you know that most of the songs i sang today , i sang for you ? i wanted so much for the words from my mouth to be carried to your heart but alas , it wasn't meant to be .. i admit i don't sound good but i meant every word that came out .. i wanted so much to look at you while singing but that would have proved too obvious .. managed to sit beside you during the last few hours and my heart broke seeing you shiver under the harsh , cold air-conditioning .. i wanted to slap myself for not bringing a jacket along with me .. did you notice that i kept quiet for the whole period of time you were talking about your job ? i didn't like the idea that you were working till so late at night at somewhere far from your house .. i didn't want to say anything lest i might blurt out something wrongly .. it really pained me to see you changing into your work uniform .. did you know that i wanted to scream that i wanted a job when janice asked ? but i kept my mouth shut because i know it's impossible .. did you hear my heart beat a little faster when you moved nearer to me because of geraldine moving nearer to yuting ? i nearly wanted to jump for joy but i didn't .. do you know what's the happiest thing that happened to me today ? to be able to hear you singing when you were sitting beside me .. |
