10:42 PM did you know that every minute 28 hectares of forest are being destroyed to make paper and for other uses? did you know that a forest the size of Greece is being destroyed every year ? did you know that the pollutants from factories and industries reach the North pole 300 times more poisonous? did you know that the amount of ice for the polar bears to walk on is getting lesser and lesser ? did you know that the polar bears are having hotter springs and shorter winters ? did you know that Earth's temperature is rising twice as fast as before ? did you know that rainforest animals are going extinct 1000 times faster ? did you know that 40% of medicine comes from plants ? did you know that malaria kills 2 million people all over the world every year ? did you know that you can do your part to save Mother Earth ? did you know we can use less paper everyday ? did you know we can use less air-con every minute ? did you know that no matter how small we think we are we can still make a difference in the world ? just think .. in SP CLS alone is using SO much paper in one semester .. what's it's like globally ? it's not late to start changing our way of life to save the one thing that's keeping us alive :) |
